Although the day was record breaking hot (11/11)all was not lost at Anhinga Trail in the Everglades National Park. While taking some shade near the Anhinga Trail boardwalk entrance several warblers flew into the pond apple by the walk entrance. One in particular was very accomodating, probably as hot as we were and not wanting to push his luck and get heatstroke. Carol used an old technique of shoot and approach shoot again and approach closer. The result was this very close and clear picture of what we believe to be a yellow-rumped warbler (Dendroica coronata). A first for her. Is there consensus on that identification?
