We tend to think of the Red-shouldered hawk as a hunter of mice, rats and maybe small birds. But at eco-pond in the Everglades National Park, you can frequently sight them catching frogs at the shore line edge. After the short flight, pounce, and kill, dinner takes about 3 minutes. In this case the dinner table was the guard rail by the overlook. "Bon appetit"
