Brennan Mulrooney reference below to the data page for reported banded spoonbills is much appreciated. I sent the data in but was puzzled by the fact that my photo shows two silver bands; one by the tarsus the second by the tibia. No color band seems present. Is that unusual or is it just a trick of light?
At any rate the banded bird hung around the first lagoon at Ding Darling for three days over the MLKing holiday (and may still be there)
