On January 27th, the Peace Corps will host 230+ guests in ENP. In order to avoid congestion we will tweak the usual TAS itinerary. Tentative schedule: meet and quickly organize at Coe Visitor Center at 7:30 AM; bird Lucky Hammock/Annex; cruise Research Road with a couple of stops in the pinelands; Mahogany Hammock is next stop; work our way south with stops at Paurotis and 9-Mile Ponds; lunch at West Lake; Eco Pond; and Flamingo area. Note: We will not visit Royal Palm or Long Pine Key picnic area.
Please bring sunscreen, water, insect repellent and food -- we don't want you to fry, dehydrate, run a quart low or waste away. I am considering early (5:30 AM) birding on Research Road. If you are interested please let me know in personal email.
