The Sparrow Trey photographed at Eco Pond looks like the same one I saw at Eco Pond on 1/5, both had an unusual amount of streaking underneath for a Nelson's. I called the bird a Nelson's because the orange-buff extended across the breast and because the color of the face triangle didn't contrast with the color on the neck. The streaking was a bit heavy for a Nelson's but it didn't look sharp enough for a Salt-Marsh, nor did the center of the breast look white. Trey's photo is a little washed out, enlarging it probably caused a loss of color saturation which has contributed to the controversy.
