American Avocets at Snake Bight.

Here is a photo of American Avocets taken on the Coot Bay Christmas bird count in Snake Bight channel. This flock contained 18 birds, we did not see any Greater Flamingos which have been absent for some time. The last time that I saw Greater Flamingos was after hurricane Katrina, I searched after Wilma but did not see any. I have tried a few times since and still have not seen any.
