Part of the problem with the photo ( It is still alot better than I could ever do) is the water on the duck's back, which creates a refractive problem ( the light is "distorted " because of the water and the the iridescent feathers..optical effects, thanks to physics). Of course, it's a duck , so I would expect it to be wet and in the water ( duh). I am not an expert, but just had to throw that in. So, I complement all of you because the ID is certainly diffucult becuase of this.
