A brief afternoon jaunt to A.D. Barnes Park in West Miami provided a nice mix of species as the last vestiges of fall migration fell upon us and the
leaning edge of a "cool front" slowly approaches, certain to bring us more tidbits of joy. They included:

Palm Warbler - 5
Prairie Warbler - 2
Northern Parula - 2
Black-throated Blue Warbler - 2 (Male & Female)
American Redstart - 1 Male
Ovenbird - 2
Black & White - 1
Magnolia Warbler - 1

Other birds seen..

Cooper's Hawk - 1
Osprey - 1
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher - 10
Red-eyed Vireo - 1
White-eyed Vireo - 1
Gray Catbird - 5
Painted Bunting -1 (Male)

Life is good........knowing that Shark Valley and Loop Road loom on tommorow's horizon.
