The TAS trip on Sunday visited Wakodahatchee, Loxahatchee, and South County Regional Park in Palm Beach county.

Wakodahatchee had incredible numbers of Moorhens, 5 Soras (4 seen, 1 heard) and most of the usual wetland birds. We got superb close views of an immature Pine Warbler in one of Wako's few pine trees.

Access at Loxahatchee was limited. We did turn up a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker and plenty of Carolina Wrens along the boardwalk.

We finished the day at South County Regional Park. We were greeted by Wood Storks. Other new birds included Painted Bunting, Magnolia Warbler, Blue-headed Vireo, and Eastern Screech-Owl. There were also a number of butterflies about, including Malachites and good numbers of Ruddy Daggerwings.
