Took a short break this afternoon and headed out to Lucky Hammock and Everglades National Park. Birds seen, just to name a few:
Anhinga
Double-crested Cormorant
Herons: Great Blue, Little Blue, Green, Tricolored
Great Egret
Purple Gallinule
Moorhen
Woodstork
Osprey
Northern Harrier (4) Lucky Hammock and ENP
Belted Kingfisher
Ruby-crowned Kinglet (Lucky Hammock)
Loads of Palm Warblers
Saw this snake just as I turned onto the road to Long Pine Key Campground. ID? Thanks.
