Today at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden we saw what may be the Buff-bellied Hummingbird. It had a curved bill. It was moving so fast it was hard to really get a good look at it. It was on the Hamelia Patens next to the Pavonia bahamensis (across from the old gate house entrance) and near the Alley. I will keep a lookout for it next week. We also saw a Juvenile Red- Shouldered Hawk in the same location.
