Eco Pond officially opened to the public today! Below is a a brief list of birds sighted this morning.
-8 pair of Northern Shovelers
-Blue-winged Teal
--Red-breasted Merganser
-Pied-billed Grebe
-20+ Snowy Egrets
-Little Blue Herons
-Yellowlegs
-Tri-colored Heron
-Wood Storks
-Great White Heron
-Northern Harrier
2 Scissortailed Flycatchers and 4 Western Kingbirds in coastal prairie across from the Visitor Center.
