I've seen a Great Black-backed Gull on one of the lightposts on the bridge over Rickenbacher Causeway on several ocassions, but I'm sure this behavior isn't species specific. Size may be a good indicator, as is the color of its back. Is it dark grey or black? What color are the legs? What, you can't tell at 55 mph?
