Nice photos, Scott! The peak above the eye (among other things) separates Eared from Horned Grebe.

I went up this morning to see the grebe, which was first reported (on FloridaBirds) by Brian Hope on Friday. It continues in the area of open water near the visitor center, usually with two Lesser Scaup.

After visiting Wakodahatchee (Purple Swamphen, Limpkin and Wilson's Snipe were the highlights there), I returned to Green Cay in the afternoon. The grebe was still present, as were the two scaup. The only other sighting of note from my second visit was at one of the seed feeders outside the visitor center: a yellow variant adult male House Finch. This variant is illustrated in Sibley Eastern, page 412. I'd be curious to know if House Finches have been seen here before. I know there is a small population of House Finches in Ft. Lauderdale (of unknown origin), but what about in Palm Beach County?
