The next tour of Stormwater Treatment Area 5 in Hendry County will be next Saturday, November 25. If you would like to join me on this tour, e-mail me at brianrapoza@aol.com. I'll send you my meeting place and time. I have room for three people in my car (first come-first serve). If you want to carpool with me in your own vehicle, e-mail me as well. Let me know the number of passengers you can accomodate; I'll try to match carpoolers with vehicles. If you want to drive directly to STA-5, meet at the entrance gate at 8:30 AM. To join the STA-5 tour, you must also contact Margaret England of Hendry-Glades Audubon Society, at sta5birding@earthlink.net. Provide Margaret with your name and contact information, including an emergency cell number and the number in your party. You may also leave a message at (863) 674-0695 or (863) 517-0202. Tours are subject to cancellation in case of inclement weather.
