There was a Pectoral Sandpiper in the NW corner of Cutler Wetlands this afternoon, which was a bit of a surprise since I haven't seen one of these since shorebird migration. Other species at Cutler Wetlands and the two retention ponds to the north and east include:

White Pelicans (40+)
Both Yellowlegs (44 Lesser and 2 Greater in the north pond alone, many more in Cutler)
Stilt Sandpiper
Western Sanpiper
LB and SB Dowitchers
Wilson's Snipe
Many waders, coots, moorhens
Savannah Sparrow (only one)
Northern Harrier
Kestrel

The only ducks at Dump Marsh were Shovelers (2), Green-winged Teal (2) and Ring-necked (6). Where are all the ducks?

Sadowski has been pretty active the last two days. Yesterday aroung 3:00 there was a bit of a fallout consisting of Pine, Yellow-rumped, Black-throated Green and Palm Warblers, Blue-headed Vireo, and two Ruby-crowned Kinglets.

This morning there was more of the same, with the addition of a B&W Warbler and a Chipping Sparrow. With all these Kinglets around let's get out and find a Golden-crowned.

Cheers
