After being out-of-town most of the day, I went home early and spent from 330-600pm in the yard. My initial bird of the day was a Peregrine Falcon, flying quickly west. Later, I found an Orange-crowned Warbler, which may be the same one I saw Oct 19 (wondering if it will spend the winter around here). But bird of the day were not 1, but 2 RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS, a new yard bird (#116). One was feeding actively along the fence line, the other was fairly consistent in a live oak in my front yard. Hmmmm, with Wheatears and G-c Kinglet invasion in NoFla, I wonder if this is going to be a good winter for "northern" birds in SoFla.....
