The lone bird is a female and she frequents a large strangler fig. It remains quite high in the tree. We have numerous short leaf figs around and I am hoping that the berries might attract her. The short leaf figs are in heavy fruit now and are much smaller trees. Its funny, I was more atracted to the harrier and red shoulder hunting in close proximity then the fact that the oriole is "out of season." But, I will watch for a photo op on the oriole. Ron Austings picture on "Thayers" is fairly close rendition. The yellow was what caught my attention. The bird was a female.
