Hello. I arrived @ 7:00 am yesterday at the Viera Wetlands and found David Simpson & Andy Bankert with the Masked Duck already lined up in their scopes... The Masked Duck put on quite a show (short 20' flights, preening, etc.) and remained visible in the open or slightly nestled along the aquatic vegetation edges until I left @ 9:00 am... Driving directions, maps, and photos are posted on Florida Birds... The treatment plant secretary was very helpful with providing information related to where the duck had been recently seen... john
