I've heard of Navy Wells in south Dade county as a good place to hike and see birds. From looking at a road atlas, I thought it would be just south of the Robert Is Here fruit stand, on that same side of the road. However, those properties turn out to be a water treatment facility and some land belonging to the Dept. of Agriculture.
Can anyone here tell me how to find Navy Wells and if it's open to the public? Thanks!
