This morning around noon there was a male chuck-will's widow on the second barrier north of the Key Largo Hammock entrance. In typical nightjar behavior (you can't possibly see me), the bird did not flush until I got out of the car (about 15 feet away) and moved to within about 7 ft. It may be a common bird, but...
