It's amazing how well some birds can pass through virtually undetected. Case in point, Swainson's Warbler. I have only seen one in south FL this fall and we (Audubon of FL) have caught/banded over 10 in our little patch of Hammock in the upper keys so far. I haven't even seen one at the site yet!

I shouldn't say I've only seen one. Aside from the one at A.D. Barnes, I saw one flattened in the parking lot of our local Publix, strange.

Speaking of elusive birds (for me anyway) has anybody seen an Upland Sandpiper in S. FL recently? Tomorrow will probably be dedicated to looking for/at the poss. SBGU in Key West, but Tues will be have to be spent scoping fields (again) for Uppies, I'm getting desperate. Any Tips?
