I don't know if it is part of a generalized movement, but this morning there were large numbers of migrants in my yard just west of The Falls. I had 8 species of warbler, including 2 new yard birds-- a FOS Orange-crowned Warbler and Black-throated Green Warbler (yard #s 114 & 115). In addition, I saw app. 20 Palm Wablers, 3 American Redstarts, at least 3 Common Yellowthroats, Magnolia Warbler, Yellow-throated Warbler, and 2 Black-throated Blue Warblers. I also had a bonus House Wren, plus usual-but-crowd-pleasing favorites such as singing Spot-breasted Oriole and American Kestrels in 30 minutes in the yard.
