After my workout today, I walked once around the lake at Palmetto Bay Village Center (former Burger King Headquarters)and spotted the following:
Belted Kingfisher, Great Blue Heron, Little Blue Heron, a pair of Kildeer, Least Tern, Common Moorhen, White Ibis(hundreds, just kidding - about 25)two Osprey, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Black Vulture, American Kestrel, a juvenile Red-shoulder Hawk, one very Big, very Ugly Iguana, and a Bagpiper (Yes, practicing under the shade of a tree on the south end of the lake. Birds didn't seem to mind) Nice way to end a workout!
