Thanks to Toe's directions,we were at Lucky Hammock about 10 am. We too saw the Chat across the road and wondered how common they are-I haven't seen one in years.We were lured by his odd monosyllabic call.We also saw quite a few raptors-at least 6 kestrels,2 harriers,4 osprey, a pair of broadwings,one sharpshinned,and one larger falcon that was too fast for us.And the giant spiders were fabulous.How bout some photos of those,Trey?
