I believe the bird is a female MacGillivray's Warbler, not an immature as I incorrectly posted earlier. It was at the southern end of the nature trail between the boardwalk and the hammock. It popped up from a clump of dead leaves and branches at the base of a slim palm and gave me a brief look before dropping down behind the branches. The crescents were very obvious. This location is where the paved walking trail comes to an end, just south of the boardwalk. Good luck to anyone that looks for it, and please post if you see it.
