A FREE "Echoes of Nature" choral concert will be held at FIU's Wertheim Performing Arts Center this Thursday at 8 PM. I'll be representing Tropical Audubon at a table before the concert, hence the connection. Everyone is welcome.
Description: "A choral concert featuring songs on themes of nature, celebrating the scenic beauty of South Florda, the Everglades and Beaches . . ." Music is by Monteverdi, Palestrina, Purcell, Schumann, Stroope, Paul Simon, and others, including three world premieres written for this concert. The University Chorale and the Concert Choir perform with the FIU Collegium Musicum.
