Red-shouldered Hawk- 1
Osprey- 2
Catbird- 4
White-eyed Vireos
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher- over 50
Black-throated Blue Warbler- 10+
Prairie Warbler- everywhere
Yellow-throated Warbler- 1
Common Yellowthroat- small bursts of 10+
Immature, very immature ibis a flock of 70+ circled and landed. These birds were so young head tops were fuzzy
mottled ducks - 7
red-winged blackbirds came in large numbers and milled around
all the feeders
Mourning dove numbers increase daily

This represents the most active day of this fall migration. The young ibis was the biggest surprise. They are not unusual here but the flocking of so many very young birds was a puzzlement. About 7 mature (all white) were in the flock.
