Developers Riled About Ivory-billed Woodpeckers In Florida Panhandle

Looks like the mighty St. Joe Company isn't too happy about the recent putative discovery of the IBWO in the Florida Panhandle. With the recent approval of the new 4,000 acre Panama City-Bay County Airport near the Choctawhatchee study area, this does not bode well for the woodpeckers. I thought that this sort of thing only happened in South Florida. How naive of me. Read this article in today's Miami Herald:
