A note passed onto me last night at my 27th birthday bash:

A Wilson's Phalarope was found by Ranger Sarah Beckwith yesterday in the flooded grassy areas across from the Flamingo Visitor's Center. The bird was "spinning" in the puddle just as you'd expect! Several hundred other shorebirds were present and seemed to be increasing over the past two weeks.
