A warm welcome to the recent Audubon visitors to H-H. Your input is valued. Sighted today:

palm warblers, prairie warblers, red-shouldered hawk, a red eyed vireo, large numbers of red winged blackbirds, several small "kettles" of vultures soaring southward, one orchard oriole (a first for us), the resident thrasher and mockingbirds, many white winged dove and many more mourning dove, and many, many more blue gray gnatcatchers, and one wren (marsh or sedge undetermined). The screech owl was asleep. And the blue jays were harassing a black racer.

Still not prime time but getting there.
