My vote on the butterfly would be Horace's Duskywing. The host plant for this guy is Virginia Oak. There are two other Duskywings found in S. Florida, the Florida Duskywing and Zarucco Duskywing. If you look closely in the Glassberg, Minno & Calhoun field guide, you can tell the difference. Your fella is nectaring on Spanish Needles (Bidens alba. This is one of the best nectar plants there is, and it's a weed.
