The Northern Wheatear was still on-site in ENP yesterday morning, and was easy to find. I'll ask Larry M. to post a couple of pix for me, which, when you think of it, may be the first photos ever taken of a Wheateater perched in a Dade County Pine.
I headed down to Flamingo afterward to see if I could find any crocodiles to photograph. There was one big one in the water near the Marina store, but he only showed the top of his head (wouldn't come out of the water). There was also a little guy visible from the bridge behind the fuel pumps. The small harbor west of the marina had a manatee and lots of big tarpon surfacing.
