Larry Manfredi called me after he spoke with Brennan and I decided to try for the bird
myself. I found the bird quickly in the large fig on the west side of the
parking lot. There were only a few warblers in the tree. B&W, Prairie, Cape May
and the BT Grey. The BT Grey acted much like a Black and White but moved around
even more. Photos were difficult to take.
I headed to the Botanical Gardens on Card Sound Rd where I saw only a
couple more warblers and several White Crown Pigeons they were all over Key
Largo. I only saw 2 Red Starts, 3 Eastern Kingbirds 6-8 White Crown Pigeons, a
couple of Cardinals and heard a Black Whiskered Vireo calling from the woods.
