Bryant Roberts had told me how good this small parcel could be, but 2 prior trips (albeit late in migration this spring) had been so-so. This morning, though, there were birds everywhere. There were 6 warbler species highlighted by 2 immature Chestnut-sided Warblers and 3 Cape Mays (1 imm, 1 female, and a breeding plumaged male), 25+ American Redstarts, plus several Parulas, BT Blues, and B&Ws. There were also 5 Baltimore Orioles, lots of Red-eyed Vireos, plus Downy Woodpecker and a lingering Chimney Swift.
