Susan Schneider was a great asset to my birdcount on campus this morning ( unfortunately we were somewhat wary of the feral dogs in the area);
Common Grackle (2)
Blue Jay (3)
Northern Mockingbird (3)
Prarie Warbler (1)
Red eyed vireo ( 3) ( a first for me)
Cardinal(1 male)
Gnatcatchers (7), including the rest of the campus
Redstart ( 3)
Little green heron (1)
Spot breasted Oriole (1)
Monk parakeets (3) ( but many more heard by the soccer field)
Red bellied woodie( 1)
Starling ( 4)
Not a great day, but always fun!
