I stayed a few hours after David, Florian and Michelle left Friday and was able to pick up a few birds to add to the list. Those of interest, to me anyway were:

5 Black-necked Stilts, 5 Least Sandpipers, 2 Pectoral SP's, 3 Solitary SP's, 1 Spotted SP, 2 Greater and 1 Lesser Yellowlegs, 4 Semi Plovers, and 2 Mottled Ducks in the fields directly adjacent to the Hammock. 4-5 Orchard Orioles and a flyby Cuckoo sp. (no obvious rufous in wings) in the Annex. After I got tired of feeding mosquitos and not seeing Upland Sands I headed to Homestead and saw some lingering Cave Swallows at the spot mentioned in Pranty.

We caught another Swainson's Warbler in the Keys today.

Brennan
