I was born on Merritt Island, and I remember vividly the jungle it was at that time. One of my most treasured memories were the vast variety of birds and animals that allowed us to reside in their habitat. Aside from the mosquitos and sand fleas, if ever there was a Garden of Eden on this side of the planet, Florida was it. Too bad those memories are only in my head.
