A brief visit to AD Barnes this morning (0730-0830) found an immature BLACKPOLL WARBLER (rare in fall), near the Nature Center. It was clearly of the "baypoll" complex, and was identified by yellowish wash, smudgy streaking on sides, and white undertail coverts.
In addition, there were FOTS Summer Tanager and Chuck-will s-widow. Also seen were Red-eyed and Yellow-throated Vireo, 6 species of warbler (Blackpoll, Redstart, Ovenbird, Northern Waterthrush, B&W, BT Blue), Cooper s Hawk, Tufted Titmouse, Yellow-chevroned Parakeet and Green Heron (flying over hammock).
