Fall Migration Count

The fall, 2006 edition of the North American Migration Count takes place on Saturday, September 16. Coverage is needed in many areas in both Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties; coverage area may be as small as your own backyard, neighborhood or local park. If you consider yourself proficient at finding and identifying birds (all birds must be counted, not just migrants)and would like to participate, please contact me via e-mail. I'll send you the forms you'll need to submit the count data. To avoid duplicate counts in any given area, I must know before the day of the count which area you'll be covering.
