Frequent sightings of redstarts in the Hoechoka Hammock area especially at dusk. Some still sporting red. Also screech owl is again a nightly presence near the hammock. Nighthawks are overhead but making no calls. Still no catbirds. Blue gray gnatcatchers are more abundant. Dove numbers are increasing daily. The mix is about 50% white winged and the rest are mourning. There is probably about 100 around the grounds.
