Here is a map of the area. You will need to be on the West side of the canal. Near the intersection of Miami Canal Rd. and CR 827 there is a bridge that crosses the Miami Canal so you can get there going down CR 827 to the location.
We checked all of the trees and saw nothing. There were several fishermen at the location and we saw a Red-tailed Hawk in the largest stand of trees.
