Cerulean Warbler at Barnes

There was a first fall male Cerulean Warbler at A. D. Barnes Park this morning in the trees just south of the cottages at the Leisure Access Center.

The warblers seen there today were: Northern Parula 6, Yellow-throated Warbler 1, Prairie Warbler 6, Cerulean Warbler 1, Black-and-white Warbler 9, American Redstart 14, Worm-eating Warbler 1, and Louisiana Waterthrush 1.

Other migrants seen were: Chimney Swift 1, Red-eyed Vireo 8, and Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 7.

Yesterday morning there was a Smooth-billed Ani on the fence along the Perimeter Road on the south side of Ft. Lauderdale International Airport.
