Hello all:

I have searched many sites mentioned by Pranty and have been stumped for 2 days. I am looking for some inside help please.

Red-whiskered Bulbul: I've tried the Royal Ave. tennis courts and side streets to the south as well as the Kenwood Elementary School and the Baptist Hospital area and streets to the north. I've tried evening and morning, but no luck. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

White-winged Parakeets: I've tried Mathew Hammock, Kennedy Park, Doc Thomas house in the morning and evening as well as various streets in Coral Gables (mid-day). ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Smooth-billed Ani: Supposedly they are reliable at the Fort Lauderdale airport. I saw habitat, but couldn't find out how to access it (west and below highway). I was going to try the Florida City Shopping Mall as well. Wakodahatchee wetlands is a little out of the way for my travels. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I am leaving for the Everglades/Keys/Dry Tortugas and shall return through the area Tuesday night. I will check email and if possible, will try Wednesday morning for the desired species. The parakeet is highest priority.

Sincerely,
Russ Namitz
