Hi Everyone - I thought some of you may be interested in the following list of birds sighted in the last 2 mornings from the Marina Store to the Walk-n Campground in Flamingo in Everglades National Park. Most are common species but migration is beginning. Many of the Egrets were sighted at Eco Pond. Although the pond is still closed the birds can be seen from the roadside. Most of the shorebirds were sighted along the park road in recent rain pools (mostly dried up now). Things are greening up down here, looking much more like the tropics again, and still very much alive.
