Shorebirds in South Dade - Red-necked Phalaropes

This afternoon I checked a scraped area at the corner of SW 147th Ave. and 328 Street. There were about 50 shorebirds including Pectoral, Least, and Western Sandpipers, Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, and 3 Red-necked Phalaropes! There were also a couple hundred gulls but they were all Laughing. The area is on the east side of 147 Avenue and north of 328 Street. This is a private costruction site so you have to view the birds from the perimeter.
