We got more Atala hairstreaks than birds up here in North Broward.
Roger Hammer you are an unmitigated success (and that is not a curse). Problem now is that the cities that have been using zamia for medians will shy away because they look so ragged and chewed up.
As to birds:
No visual success for shrike in nesting
two mockingbird birds nests only
No redwing nests this year
No killdeer this year
No fly overs by seagulls
vultures still scarce
cardinals one nest with one fledged young
mourning doves : have only see one juvenile
white-winged; numbers down sharply
ring-necked: numbers down dramatically
brown thrasher: numbers consistent with 2005
