Yellowthroated warbler at Coe Visitor center this early morning (First of the season and two blue-gray gnatcatchers at Anhinga Trail, also fots)

Otherwise than that: nothing but heat, humidity, searing sun, hazy sky. The sun was so hot today that the lubber grasshoppers (of which there were hundreds) were taking turns carrying one another on their backs. A touching scene of insect caring.

Horse flies, deer flies a moderate nuisance. Mosquitos, very few at Anhinga and Pineland. We didn't go further south.

Marina is still closed for dredging and "Robert Is Here" closes in September and October.
