We headed out on Monday morning, kicking off my college tour before I start senior year. Besides a Snail Kite in Collier County and a Summer Tanager in Manatee County, the road trip up was uneventful.
However, yesterday I saw my first countable Black-hooded Parakeets in St. Petersburg, as well as a beautifl Black Tern.
Today we went up to Hernando Beach, where I quickly saw four Budgerigars. Florida bird 297! So close to 300...
Tomorrow we arrive to Wakulla Springs State Park for two nights, and we plan on visiting St. Marks several times.
