I have been getting plenty of Bronzed Cowbirds every day at my feeders in Homestead. I have also seen several Bronzed Cowbirds in the Village of Pinecrest in the area of s.w. 106 st. and 72 ave. I had one male, one female and two immatures that were hanging out together. I guess the young were raised near this area, I wonder who the host birds were? I am getting many immatures at my feeders as well as adults. I wish that the name for these birds would go back to Red-eyed Cowbird! I don't remember seeing so many Bronzed Cowbirds here in South Florida, I really believe there had been a big increase of these birds in South Florida.
